Our specialty infant formula nutritionally supports babies with reflux or regurgitation from birth to 12 months.

Product Information

Babies often spit up small amounts of milk after feeding (commonly known as reflux or regurgitation). However, some babies may suffer from more frequent regurgitation. This formula is thickened with carob bean gum, helping the formula to stay in the stomach, which may help reduce the severity and frequency of regurgitation episodes. This is a key element for the dietary management of regurgitation or mild reflux.

  • Thickened premium infant formula, maintains thickness in the stomach
  • Nutritionally complete from birth to 6 months, or as part of a mixed diet from 6-12 months

Aptamil® Gold+ Reflux Infant Formula is not suitable for general use and should be used under medical supervision. Not to be used for infants with a diagnosed cows’ milk protein allergy.

A fast/variable flow teat is recommended for this formula.

1 scoop = 7.6 powder.

Note: 1 scoop of powder added to 50mL of water yields approximately 56mL of formula. This feeding guide is a general guide only; your child may need more or less than shown..

Step 1

Reminder: Prepare each bottle separately. For all brands of formula, it is safer to use immediately after they are prepared.Wash hands before preparing the feed. Clean and then sterilise all utensils by boiling for 5 minutes or using an approved steriliser.

Step 2

Boil safe drinking water and allow to cool to feeding temperature. CONSULT FEEDING GUIDE. Measure the required volume of water into a sterilised feeding bottle.

Step 3

Use only the enclosed scoop. Fill the scoop lightly & level off using the built-in leveller. Avoid compacting the powder.

Step 4

Always add one level scoop of powder for each 50ml of water. Cap the bottle and shake for 20 seconds. Leave to stand for up to 7 minutes to allow it to thicken.

Step 5

Test temperature on wrist before feeding. Feed immediately (do not store). Discard unfinished feeds.

Every feeding journey is unique

Not every parent can produce breast milk. No matter what choice you make, we will support your unique feeding journey.

We at Nutricia believe in providing the best nutrition for babies, which is why we recognise breast milk is uniquely superior for babies as it provides many benefits. It is important that mums have a healthy diet to support breastfeeding. A decision not to breastfeed, or partial bottle feed, may reduce breast milk supply making it difficult to reverse. The cost and social implications of using feeding methods should be considered. Always seek professional advice about feeding your baby. Ensure formula is used as directed as improper use can affect baby’s health.
