If you know that your child is particularly sensitive to change, we recommend that you gradually introduce them to the new product. Rest assured that any slight changes in digestion should be minimal and temporary. You can simply replace one scoop of the Aptamil® Essensis Organic A2 protein milk stage 3 with a scoop of the new Aptamil® Essensis Organic A2 protein milk stage 4. Once your child has adjusted which could be as little as one day, you can replace another scoop and so on till you are completely on the new Aptamil® Essensis Organic A2 protein milk stage 4.
For more information, please read our transition guide here.
Lutein is sourced from the Marigold flower and is added as very fine orange particles to the milk base. This can give a slightly more yellow (egg yolk) colour to the powder. It is not noticeable unless compared side by side with the Aptamil® Essensis Organic A2 protein milk stage 1 to 3. Very sensitive toddlers may react to lutein in stage 4. This should ease after a few days. Please contact us again if symptoms persist or contact your doctor.
The Aptamil® Essensis Organic A2 protein milk stage 4 is halal certified.

Every feeding journey is unique
Not every parent can produce breast milk. No matter what choice you make, we will support your unique feeding journey.
We at Nutricia believe in providing the best nutrition for babies, which is why we recognise breast milk is uniquely superior for babies as it provides many benefits. It is important that mums have a healthy diet to support breastfeeding. A decision not to breastfeed, or partial bottle feed, may reduce breast milk supply making it difficult to reverse. The cost and social implications of using feeding methods should be considered. Always seek professional advice about feeding your baby. Ensure formula is used as directed as improper use can affect baby’s health.
