Creamy Vanilla Porridge
Porridge is a great nutritious breakfast you can enjoy any day of the week. It’s super-simple and you can keep it interesting by changing up your toppings.
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- Pinch cinnamon
- 1 x 200ml Fortisip (Vanilla)*
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 tablespoon dry roasted almonds, chopped
- 1 teaspoon honey
Bring milk, oats and cinnamon to a gentle simmer. Cook, stirring often for 5 minutes or until milk is mostly absorbed and oats have softened.
Add Fortisip (Vanilla) and gently cook over low heat until liquid has reduced and oats are tender.
Serve warm topped with blueberries, almonds and honey.
Fortisip MultiFibre (Vanilla) can be used instead of Fortisip (Vanilla).
Add 1 tablespoon toasted shredded coconut for added crunch.
