Chocolate Mug Cake
Cooked in the microwave, this chocolate dessert is not only super quick to make but the perfect treat when in the mood for chocolate cake.
- 1 egg
- 1 x 200ml Fortisip (Chocolate)*
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup almond meal
- 1 tablespoon plain flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 50g fresh raspberries
- Pinch cinnamon
In a small mixing bowl whisk egg with Fortisip (Chocolate) and maple syrup.
Add cocoa powder, almond meal, flour and baking powder. Mix well.
Spoon batter into two greased microwave safe mugs.
Microwave for 90-120 seconds or until cake has risen and cooked through. Cake will be moist.
Allow to slightly cool and top with fresh raspberries and sprinkle with cinnamon to serve.
Fortisip MultiFibre (Chocolate) can be used instead of Fortisip (Chocolate).
Serve with shavings of dark chocolate for a super chocolate treat.
